Money management

Manage your income and expenses to meet your financial needs/goals. This includes handling bill payments, interacting with creditors/vendors, and providing financial reports as needed.

Personal Representative

Act as administrator of the estate if the person died without a will or as executor of estate if named in a will. Personal representatives have a duty to protect the deceased’s property, finalize their financial affairs and distribute assets to heirs and beneficiaries.

Carry out the terms set forth in a legally notarized trust document, ensuring your wishes are honored and your beneficiaries understand how the trust is being administered.

An individual designated with the legal authority to act on another’s behalf in the event that one becomes unable to manage their affairs as a result of a major medical event or loss of capacity.

The name “Sterling” is synonymous with high quality, authenticity, excellence, and reliability: qualities that any fiduciary service should embody.

Sterling Fiduciary Services was formed by Bernard Guanio. He is a graduate of Villanova University with double majors in Finance and International Business. He also holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School.

Prior to forming Sterling Fiduciary Services, Bernard worked in corporate treasury roles, mortgage banking, fixed income trading, and securitization.  Most recently, Bernard has served as a financial/project controls manager for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

Bernard is a Licensed Professional Fiduciary in the State of California (CLPF License #1575.)

Rates

Depending on the complexity of the case and assets, Sterling’s rate ranges between $150-$250/hr.
